Physiotherapie Clinica Es Castell

Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation

Movement is medicine.
But only truly effective when it fits you.

At our clinic, physiotherapy is never a standard programme. Every treatment begins with a thorough assessment – and leads to a plan tailored to your symptoms, your capacity and your goals. Whether after surgery, with chronic pain, neurological conditions or simply the wish to move more freely again.

We don't treat the diagnosis. We treat the person behind it.

Physiotherapy appointments are available at short notice – outpatient and inpatient.

Why Es Castell

Physiotherapy in a private clinic – that makes the difference.

In a typical physiotherapy practice you get 20 minutes. With us, you get time. Our physiotherapists work closely with doctors, psychiatrists and specialists from every discipline – under one roof. This allows treatment that truly takes every connection into account.

Then there is the setting: physiotherapy in rooms that don't feel like a hospital. Quiet, light and an atmosphere in which you can relax immediately.

🏥

Right inside the clinic

Medical coordination and physiotherapy in one building – no friction, no waiting between disciplines.

🕐

Time for every patient

No rigid time slots, no conveyor belt. Every session is focused on you – for as long as it needs.

🌊

A healing environment

Quiet, warm design and rooms that feel good. The context of therapy is part of the therapy.

Our services

Physiotherapy from assessment to rehabilitation.

After a careful physiotherapy assessment, we develop a treatment plan precisely tailored to your symptoms, your physical capacity and your personal goals. Our services at a glance:

01

Pelvic floor therapy

Targeted training and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles – for women and men. For incontinence, after surgery, after pregnancy or with functional complaints. We combine awareness, activation, relaxation and coordination with breathing exercises and core stabilisation.

More control, stability and confidence in everyday life.

02

Connective tissue massage

A specialised massage technique that specifically treats the skin, subcutaneous and connective tissue. Precise pulling and shifting techniques release tension and improve tissue mobility – complementing exercise therapy and manual techniques.

Improved tissue mobility, local circulation, reduced tension.

03

Neurological physiotherapy (CNS)

For patients with disorders of the central nervous system: after stroke, with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease or neurologically caused movement disorders. We train movement sequences, balance, coordination and muscle control – individually, systematically and with clear goals.

Preserve existing abilities, improve function, achieve the greatest possible independence.

04

Electrotherapy & intramuscular electrical stimulation

Therapeutically dosed electrical impulses for pain relief, muscle activation and neuromuscular rehabilitation. Where indicated, also special intramuscular techniques – as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Targeted muscle activation, support of neuromuscular function, complementary pain treatment.

05

Manual extension & traction of the cervical spine

Controlled traction and extension techniques for suitable complaints of the cervical spine – pain, restricted movement, muscular tension. Combined with mobilisation, active exercises, stabilisation and posture training.

Reduce symptoms and sustainably improve mobility and stability of the cervical spine.

06

Scoliosis therapy

Scoliosis requires an individually adapted, three-dimensional approach. We combine posture training, active straightening, core stabilisation, mobilisation, strengthening and breathing exercises – complemented by a personal home exercise programme for everyday life, work and sport.

The best possible alignment, stability, mobility and functional capacity.

07

Cardiovascular activation & cardiac exercise

After heart disease, medical procedures or longer periods of inactivity, physical capacity is rebuilt in a controlled, step-by-step way. Endurance, strength, mobility and coordination – always adapted to your state of health and in line with all medical requirements.

Safely rebuild cardiovascular capacity – back to a more active life.

08

Equipment-based physiotherapy & therapeutic exercise groups

Physiotherapy meets medical training therapy. After an individual assessment, we design a training programme focusing on muscle building, strength endurance, core stability, mobility and functional training. For chronic pain, also in therapist-led groups.

Build strength, stability and capacity sustainably – and regain trust in movement.

09

Thrombosis prevention & early mobilisation

After surgery or during immobility, we start controlled mobilisation early – from active exercises in bed to getting up safely and walking independently. Complemented by circulation activation, leg muscle training and breathing exercises as part of physiotherapeutic thrombosis prevention.

Get moving as early as possible – actively preventing complications caused by immobility.

10

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD)

A specialised physiotherapy treatment using gentle, rhythmic hand techniques to support lymphatic flow. For lymphoedema, post-operative swelling or swelling after tumour surgery and radiotherapy – as part of a comprehensive decongestion programme.

Support of lymphatic flow and treatment of medically diagnosed swelling.

11

Breathing therapy & respiratory physiotherapy

For patients with COPD and other chronic respiratory diseases. We work with breathing techniques, positions that ease breathing, secretion mobilisation, chest mobilisation and individual endurance and strength programmes. Patients learn strategies for a safer everyday life with breathlessness.

Improve breathing efficiency, increase physical capacity, gain more confidence in everyday life.

12

Bobath therapy (NDT)

The Bobath concept is a neurophysiological approach for patients after stroke, with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, traumatic brain injury or cerebral palsy. Targeted handling techniques inhibit abnormal movement patterns and help patients relearn more functional everyday movements – standing up, walking, grasping. As one-to-one therapy, holistic and individual – combined with modern evidence-based methods.

Relearn movement patterns, restore everyday functions, regain independence.

Who it's for

Outpatient. Inpatient. Part of a broader programme.

Physiotherapy at Es Castell is not limited to one area. It can take place on its own as an outpatient treatment – or as an integral part of an inpatient stay, an addiction treatment programme, orthopaedic aftercare or a longevity programme.

Coordination between physiotherapy, treating doctors and other therapists happens directly – not by phone or referral, but under the same roof.

For chronic back and joint pain, physiotherapy is an integral part of our multimodal pain therapy at our day clinic. To support recovery after illness, we can also add IHHT cell training on request.
