When does an iron infusion make sense?
It depends on your lab values, the cause of the iron deficiency and how well you tolerate iron tablets. We assess this medically with you before any treatment.
What do the blood tests include?
Depending on the question: full blood count, iron metabolism, vitamins, inflammation and metabolic markers and, if needed, hormones and micronutrients. We discuss the results with you in person.
Can I be treated during a stay in Mallorca?
Yes. Diagnostics and infusions are available as outpatient care in Palma – even if you are only on the island for a while. Appointments are subject to availability.
Do I need a referral?
You can contact us directly. Please bring any existing medical reports so we can include them in planning.
Do you also perform blood transfusions?
Yes. For patients with chronic anaemia we offer blood transfusions under specialist supervision – outpatient and discreet.
What does treatment cost – will my insurance pay?
Our services are billed privately. Before treatment we inform you about costs and provide complete documents for your private health insurer. Reimbursement depends on your policy. Self-paying patients are welcome.
