Private Psychiatry & Psychotherapy Clinic | Es Castell
Psychiatry and psychotherapy, thought through together
A careful psychiatric assessment forms the basis of your personal treatment plan. We take into account your symptoms, your life story, previous treatments and possible physical factors.
Depending on your needs, we combine psychotherapeutic sessions with medical care and medication. Which methods make sense, we discuss together with you. Your treatment should be understandable to you. That includes asking questions, expressing wishes and making decisions together.

Our rooms
Our rooms are furnished with great attention to detail – stylish and cosy like a boutique hotel. Warm colours, selected materials and a personal atmosphere create a place where you can feel at ease and find calm.
Below Bellver Castle
Clínica Es Castell lies directly below the medieval Bellver Castle, by the castle park – with views of greenery and across the Bay of Palma. Here, closeness to nature and the openness of the sea come together with a protected setting for your treatment.
We care for the body, too
The inpatient therapy programme of our department of psychiatry, psychotherapy and addiction medicine includes integrative treatments at LUMINA Cellular Spa.
In coordination with the treating team, we complement your medical and psychotherapeutic treatment with individually selected options, such as IHHT, PAPIMI, meditation and relaxation. This way, physical recovery also has its place. The selection depends on your health and possible contraindications. The integrative options complement medical and psychotherapeutic treatment.
Breathe again. Step by step.
Depending on your state of health and personal treatment plan, walks in the castle park, on the beach, along the promenade or at the marina can be part of your stay.
Sun on your skin. Sea air. The light on the water. A few steps at your own pace, without having to achieve anything. Between conversations and treatments there is room for rest, movement and encounters. And for feeling some lightness again alongside everything that is heavy.
FAQ
For patients from Germany, Austria and Switzerland
You don't need to be in Mallorca yet to make first contact. Before a planned trip we discuss your concern, existing medical reports and the requirements for admission. You receive information on the planned treatment setting, availability and costs.
Follow-up treatment after your stay should also be discussed early on. We take your care at home into account.
Costs and private health insurance
Our services are billed privately. Before treatment starts we inform you about the planned services and costs.
If you have private health insurance, we support you with the necessary medical documents for a coverage request. Whether and to what extent your insurance pays depends on your policy and individual approval.
Can I contact you without a referral?
You can contact us directly. Which reports or documents are needed for further planning, we discuss afterwards.
Is short-notice admission possible?
Please ask about current availability. Admission depends on the medical assessment and available treatment capacity.
Can a relative get in touch, too?
Yes. If you are worried about someone close to you, you can contact us first with your concern.
Are integrative treatments part of the inpatient programme?
Yes. For inpatients of our department of psychiatry, psychotherapy and addiction medicine, integrative options at LUMINA are part of the therapy programme. The treating team decides individually which treatments are suitable for you.
